Tyler
Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that the city of
Muskogee, Oklahoma, has successfully gone live with Tyler's ExecuTime™
enterprise workforce management solution.
The city of Muskogee initially issued a request for proposals (RFP) to
automate their employee timekeeping and scheduling with the goal of
saving its employees time and saving the city money by eliminating
manual paper processes. After selecting Tyler's ExecuTime solution, the
city and Tyler worked together to achieve a successful go-live for the
city's various departments.
"Tyler was our top choice in providing a user-friendly time and
attendance program which met the needs of employees, supervisors, and
our departmental payroll clerks," said Kelly Plunkett, human resources
director for the city of Muskogee. "Since implementation of the
ExecuTime software solution, we have eliminated paper, streamlined our
payroll process, and reduced payroll processing time from days to just
hours. Our goal was to save time and money and we have successfully
accomplished these objectives."
Tyler's ExecuTime solution offers flexible configuration, time capturing
abilities, work schedules and leave requests, and was the only vendor to
offer automated integration with its existing human resources and
payroll system. This means that custom development, and the additional
costs associated with it, was not needed.
"We're pleased to provide the city of Muskogee with advanced time and
record keeping through our ExecuTime solution," said Chris Hepburn,
president of Tyler's ERP & Schools Division. "Our solution offers
workforce management enterprise-wide, and we are confident that Muskogee
will continue to find value in its advanced scheduling features, which
automates and simplifies complex processes."
The city of Muskogee is located approximately 50 miles southeast of
Tulsa and has a population of nearly 40,000. Tyler also provides its
Incode® court solution to the city of Muskogee; its New World™
public safety solution to the Muskogee City-County E911; and its
Versatrans® school transportation solution to Muskogee Public
Schools.
