Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) today announced that the Superior
Court of California, County of Santa Cruz, has selected Tyler's Odyssey®
court case management software system to integrate court case processes
and meet strategic goals.
Santa Cruz will implement Odyssey for all case types, including
criminal, civil, family and traffic, to meet its strategic goal of
providing equal access to the court for all. To date, 14 California
superior courts have announced that they have selected Tyler's Odyssey
court case management solution.
"We are very excited to implement the Odyssey case management system in
the Santa Cruz County Superior Court. The Odyssey system will provide us
with the most up-to-date technology to effectively administer justice
and better serve our community," said Honorable Paul M. Marigonda,
presiding judge of the Santa Cruz Superior Court.
The court used the state's Master Services Agreement (MSA) that gives
California's 58 superior courts the ability to purchase Tyler's Odyssey
integrated court case management system at pre-negotiated terms,
conditions and pricing outlined in the MSA. The MSA was developed by a
group of IT leaders and court managers within the California judicial
system as a way for the state's superior courts to efficiently purchase
a case management system.
Odyssey has been selected for use by more than 500 counties in 21
states, serving more than 75 million residents. Odyssey has been
successfully deployed statewide in Indiana, Minnesota, New Hampshire,
New Mexico, North Dakota and South Dakota; statewide implementations in
Idaho, Maryland, Oregon, Rhode Island and Washington are currently
underway.
Santa Cruz County has a population of approximately 262,000 on the
Pacific coast and forms the northern coast of Monterey Bay.
