Tyler Technologies Unit Awarded Reassessment Outsourcing Contract in North Carolina |
DALLAS, Oct. 24 -- Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL), announced today that its Cole Layer Trumble (CLT) division has signed a $1 million agreement to provide reassessment outsourcing services to Robeson County, North Carolina. Robeson County is North Carolina's largest county in terms of area and has a population of approximately 115,000. Under this agreement, Robeson County will outsource to CLT the appraisal of 75,000 parcels of residential, commercial, industrial and tax-exempt properties for the County's January 1, 2004 tax roll. Work under the contract is expected to be completed by April 2004.
CLT has already been providing data collection services to Robeson County under a 2000 agreement for Phase One of the reassessment project. The County decided to expand its working relationship with CLT through the remaining project phases. Jack Williford, County Tax Administrator, commented, "Robeson County chose Cole Layer Trumble to perform our 2004 revaluation primarily because of their many years of experience and the professionalism demonstrated by their staff."
Robeson County also uses CLT's Integrated Assessment System, including modules for Computer Aided Mass Appraisal, Assessment Administration, Manufactured Homes, and Hearing Tracking, to manage its property tax assessment process. The County has also purchased CLT's Landisc property imaging system.
