Tyler Technologies Awarded New Contracts With Counties in California And Arizona |
DALLAS, Oct. 18 -- Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL), announced today that its Eagle Computer Systems unit has entered into contracts to provide systems and related professional services and hardware for San Joaquin County, California and Yuma County, Arizona. The contracts, which are expected to be completed by the end of 2002, have a combined value of approximately $1.2 million.
Tyler will install its CRIS+plus integrated recording system in the San Joaquin County Assessor-Clerk-Recorder's Office. CRIS+plus is Tyler Technologies' flagship Windows-based recording system for official government records, including land records, Uniform Commercial Code filing, marriages and vital statistics. The CRIS+plus system includes integrated digital imaging, receipting and workflow applications.
San Joaquin County is located in central California and is the fifth richest agricultural county in the nation. The county has a population of nearly 600,000 and includes the city of Stockton.
Under the contract with Yuma County, Arizona, Tyler will install its tax software in the Assessor and Treasurer's offices. Yuma will be implementing Tyler's AIMS+plus assessment administration system, along with its CAMA+plus real estate mass appraisal system and TIMS+plus integrated tax billing and collections system. The systems also include integrated digital imaging, receipting and workflow applications. In addition, Yuma County will implement iTAX, Tyler's browser-based remote access application for viewing data and photos from the assessment and appraisal database.
Fast-growing Yuma County is located in southwestern Arizona, bordering Mexico and California. Yuma County's area of over 5,500 square miles is larger than the state of Connecticut. The county has a population of approximately 160,000, including the city of Yuma. During the winter, the population grows by nearly 85,000 with seasonal residents.
