Contract With Nation's Eighth Largest County Valued at Over $4.1 Million
Dallas, October 26, 2005 -- Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has signed a contract to provide its Odyssey Case Management software for use by the Miami-Dade County, Florida Clerk of the Circuit and County Court, as well as the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. The total estimated value of the contract, including software licenses and professional services, is greater than $4.1 million.
Tyler's Odyssey system is a new generation Web-based court case management solution for the state and local government market. The Miami-Dade project will include implementation of the Odyssey Case Management software for civil, probate, family, domestic violence and mental health cases, along with electronic document management for all court documents filed in these cases. The software will also manage judicial assignment and scheduling and court filing fees. As part of the project, Tyler will also interface Odyssey to various other state and local justice systems.
With more than 2.3 million residents, Miami-Dade County is the most populous county in Florida and the eighth largest county in the United States. The city of Miami is the seat of Miami-Dade County, which has over 30,000 employees.
