Contract with Florida's Second Largest County Valued at $4.6 Million
Dallas, December 20, 2006 -- Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has entered into a contract to provide its Odyssey Case Management software for use by the Broward County, Florida, Clerk of the Circuit and County Court. The total estimated value of the contract, including software licenses and professional services, is approximately $4.6 million.
Tyler's Odyssey system is a new generation Web-based court case management solution for the state and local government market. The Broward project will include implementation of the Odyssey Case Management software for all case types, including civil, criminal, juvenile, probate, family, domestic violence and mental health cases, along with electronic document management for all court documents filed in these cases. The software will also manage judicial assignment and scheduling. As part of the project, Tyler will also interface the Odyssey system to various other state and local justice systems.
Broward County is the second most populous county in Florida and the fifteenth largest county in the United States. The city of Fort Lauderdale is the seat of Broward County, which has more than 1.8 million residents.
