Dallas, February 21, 2007 -- Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has signed contracts to provide its MUNIS software and services for three counties in Ohio: Fairfield County, Lake County and Hancock County. Together the contract amounts total approximately $1.6 million and cover a full suite of Financial, Revenue and Billing, Payroll and Human Resources, and reporting and management solutions, along with related professional services and ongoing support.
Dick Peterson, President of Tyler's MUNIS division, commented, "Signing contracts with these three Ohio communities has once again reinforced the strong Tyler presence, specifically with MUNIS financial solutions, in the state of Ohio. Adding Fairfield, Lake and Hancock counties to our 'neighborhood' of existing Ohio clients builds upon our ten-year relationship in that state. Our continued growth in key geographical areas, including states such as Ohio, reflects our commitment to clients to continue to provide top-notch software and services."
Tyler's customer-oriented focus on comprehensive, quality solutions makes its solutions and services a clear choice for cities, towns and counties that look to replace existing financial systems. Additionally, Tyler's reputation as a leader in public sector software and services has led to the growing client base in Ohio. Both Fairfield and Lake Counties have previously implemented Tyler's CLT property tax administration software, illustrating Tyler's unique ability to offer end-to-end solutions for local governments.
According to Barbara Curtiss, Fairfield County Auditor, "Fairfield County is pleased to partner with Tyler Technologies in the implementation of MUNIS. Our need for a comprehensive, countywide solution to replace diverse databases, systems and spreadsheets has been a major goal for us. We began our review of new systems five years ago, and after extensive evaluation, we determined that MUNIS would best meet our county's needs. We have been most impressed with the caliber of MUNIS personnel."
The County is looking forward to meeting the growing needs of its citizens with the new MUNIS solutions. "Our ongoing participation with the talented MUNIS implementation team will be our key to successfully utilizing the functionality of the system to its fullest potential," continued Curtiss. "This will benefit the residents and taxpayers of Fairfield County."
The three counties will be implementing integrated MUNIS products including a full suite of financial applications, Accounts Receivable, General Billing, Payroll and Human Resources, Animal Licenses, Utility Billing, Permits and Code Enforcement, Self-Service, Tyler Content Manager, Tyler Forms, Tyler Go Docs, MUNIS Office, and Crystal Reports. Additionally, Tyler's MUNIS applications will provide necessary Ohio-specific software including mandated Auditor-Treasurer Reconciliation requirements.
