(NYSE: TYL) announced today that its INCODE division has recently been awarded new contracts to provide its InVision suite of software applications for local government sites in ten different states across the nation. The combined value of the contracts, including software licenses, professional services and hardware, is approximately $1.4 million. The new customers, which range in population from 2,000 to 35,000, include:
- Desoto County, Florida;
- Monona County, Iowa;
- City of Morgan Hill, California;
- City of Lake Oswego, Oregon;
- City of Medford, Wisconsin;
- City of York, Nebraska;
- City of Caney, Kansas;
- City of Olivia, Minnesota;
- City of Donna, Texas;
- City of Schertz, Texas; and
- Rapides Water District, Louisiana
"While these contracts by no means represent all of the recent new business for our InVision products, they do represent the geographical diversity of our sales success," noted Dustin Womble, President of Tyler's INCODE division. "Market acceptance of our InVision product, which is targeted at mid-sized governments seeking a feature-rich, high-quality solution, continues to grow, both in states where we have historically had a significant presence and in new states that represent major growth opportunities for us. We are pleased to continue to report solid progress in achieving one of our primary goals, that of geographic expansion."
InVision is Tyler Technologies' Windows-based suite of applications designed for local governments. InVision is supported on Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Novell networks. The InVision applications that Tyler will install at these cities and counties include Financials, Payroll, Human Resources, Municipal Court, Code Enforcement, Property Tax, and Utility Customer Information Systems (CIS).
The City of Morgan Hill, California's Project Manager for the selection process, Chu Thai, sees the implementation of InVision as a logical step in Morgan Hill's IT development. "Of the final four vendors evaluated, Tyler's InVision Utility CIS delivers the best solution for Morgan Hill, and received the highest ratings and recommendations from all references," commented Mr. Thai. "We particularly liked the easy-to-use graphical interface, total workability, and strong report writing features inherent in the InVision CIS products. Their platform architecture provides seamless integration with our current and proposed network system plans. In the future, we plan to Web-enable utility information and bill payment through InSite, Tyler's online utility billing module, to give citizens even greater access to City Hall. We're excited about moving to Tyler's InVision applications to benefit our citizens, as well as city staff."
Terri Kesner, Director of Administrative Services for Desoto County, Florida, stated, "We are looking forward to implementing the InVision suite of software applications and are excited about the positive effect it will have on our operations. We're pleased to be at the forefront of Tyler's expansion into Florida with InVision, and we expect great things from them in the future."
