TYLER TECHNOLOGIES UNIT AWARDED CONTRACTS WITH TWO CALIFORNIA CITIES |
Dallas, Texas, March 11, 2003 - Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that its INCODE division has entered into contracts to provide software and related services to the California cities of Hollister and Antioch.
The City of Hollister selected INCODE to provide its InVision suite of integrated financial and customer information system applications, along with related services. INCODE will provide Hollister with application software, system software, project management, data conversion, training and other professional services. InVision is Tyler Technologies’ Windows-based suite of applications designed for local governments and supported on Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Novell networks.
Located about 100 miles southeast of San Francisco in the Central Coast region of California, Hollister is the largest city in San Benito County. Hollister has a population of nearly 30,000.
Cindy Sanders, Project Manager for the City of Hollister, cites the reporting flexibility, user-friendliness and total integration of InVision as key factors in the City’s selection of the Tyler Technologies product. “The City of Hollister spent several months reviewing software companies,” commented Ms. Sanders. “Our goal was to find a cost-effective, totally integrated solution for all areas of the city, from accounting to utility billing to business licenses. INCODE was evaluated by the users in all of these areas and was selected with their approval. The reports and tools provided with the InVision products will allow us to operate in a more efficient and timely manner. Our staff is excited about the functionality and versatility of InVision that was not available in our previous software. We look forward to building a long-term relationship between the City of Hollister and Tyler Technologies’ INCODE division.”
The City of Antioch also selected INCODE to provide its InVision Utility Customer Information System (CIS) and related services. Located in Contra Costa County, the City has a population nearing 90,000 and serves approximately 30,000 utility customers in the Bay Area.
“The City of Antioch chose INCODE’s InVision Utility CIS based upon our search to find a cost-effective solution to replace the City’s legacy utility billing system,” stated John Pavlicek, Data Processing Manager for the City. “Offerings from a number of qualified vendors were evaluated by the users, who selected InVision. The InVision Utility CIS offers a user-friendly interface to a full-featured product addressing our billing needs. The integrated functionality of the software should help streamline our processes. As Antioch continues to grow, we are confident that Tyler Technologies will meet our current and future needs.”
Dustin Womble, CEO of Tyler’s INCODE division, commented, “Hollister and Antioch are representative of the growing demand for our InVision products. The continuing expansion and enhancement of our InVision software is focused on the specific needs of mid-market local governments that demand high-quality solutions. We are excited about our sales growth in California, which demonstrates that our InVision products are meeting the demands of the market.”
