Tyler Technologies Signs $4.1 Million Contract to Provide Financial Software for the City of Southfield, Michigan

Dallas, February 18, 2004 -- Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that its Eden Systems unit has signed a contract to provide the city of Southfield, Michigan with its suite of integrated financial software. The total value of the contract, including software, services and support, is greater than $4.1 million.
Tyler will provide Eden Systems’ InForum Gold software for financial, payroll and human resource, and citizen services applications. Tyler will also implement InForum Gold utility billing software to manage the account receivable process for the city’s utilities.
The city of Southfield conducted an extensive search for new software that would replace its existing outdated system and help the city operate more efficiently. After a thorough evaluation of proposals from several software providers, the city selected Tyler’s Eden Systems division as the company with the best combination of software and services to meet its needs.
