TYLER TECHNOLOGIES SIGNS STATEWIDE ODYSSEY COURTS SYSTEM CONTRACT WITH NEW HAMPSHIRE JUDICIAL BRANCH |
Dallas, April 28, 2004 – Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has signed a $1.9 million contract with the State of New Hampshire Judicial Branch for the statewide implementation of Tyler’s Odyssey Case Manager system. By selecting Odyssey, New Hampshire will implement the only completely new, Web-based case management system available to the state and local court marketplace.
The New Hampshire Judicial Branch requires a case management system that will accommodate growth and support the functions of the Superior, District and Probate courts, which handle about 215,000 new filings each year. Because Odyssey is a unified case management system as defined by the National Center for State Courts, it provides the New Hampshire courts system with the potential to automate all case management functions – imaging, accounting, docketing, calendaring, reporting, forms merge and others – for multiple case types, in a single software package. Odyssey will automate 65 trial courts in 46 court facilities throughout the state.
“We carefully researched a number of vendors and we are confident that the Tyler information management product will allow the courts to deliver excellent service to the citizens of New Hampshire as our state constitution requires us to do,” said Donald D. Goodnow, the director of the Administrative Office of the Courts for the New Hampshire Judicial Branch.
"We are very pleased to begin this partnership with the State of New Hampshire," said Glenn Smith, President of Tyler's Courts and Justice Division. "This contract confirms Odyssey's appeal in distributed, statewide court systems. We have been communicating our marketing message to statewide courts, and that message is being heard."
