Tyler Technologies Divisions Team Up To Provide Software For Forest Grove, Oregon |
Dallas, February 9, 2005 -- Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has signed a contract with the City of Forest Grove, OR to provide integrated financial and utility billing software from its EDEN and INCODE divisions. In addition to the software products, Tyler will provide Forest Grove with implementation services, training and support.
Forest Grove represents the first joint client for these two Tyler divisions. The EDEN division will provide a full financial suite of software products, as well as payroll and human resources applications. The INCODE division will provide software for utility billing, central cash and accounts receivable applications.
The City of Forest Grove placed a great deal of importance on acquiring software that would improve its business relationships with the public. The City, which has approximately 19,000 utility customers and bills for electricity, was seeking a way to simplify outdated processes and to improve the speed and efficiency of its internal and external systems.
"Tyler Technologies was able to provide a solution that best met the needs of the City by offering products from its different divisions," said Paul Downey, director of support services for the City of Forest Grove. "The new systems will allow the City to simplify many internal paperwork processes, which will in turn allow our staff to focus on providing improved customer service."
"The joint effort between Tyler's EDEN and INCODE divisions provides the City of Forest Grove with the strongest combination of software and services to meet its long-term technology goals," commented Gene Jackson, Tyler's director of business development. "This is a great example of how Tyler Technologies' breadth of offerings enhances our ability to serve local governments with best-of-breed solutions."
