Lowndes County, Georgia Chooses EDEN Software From Tyler Technologies |
Dallas, February 28, 2005 -- Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has signed a contract to provide Lowndes County, Georgia with integrated financial, payroll and citizen services software from its EDEN division. In addition, the County will implement EDEN Web applications to enhance business relationships with the public. Faced with the need to provide more current information to managers and elected officials and to streamline agency business processes, Lowndes County started searching for new software in 2002. The extensive evaluation process culminated in the selection of software from Tyler's EDEN division, with the selection committee unanimously deciding that EDEN's products best met the County's requirements.
The County, with a population of more than 92,000, placed a great deal of importance on acquiring software that would deliver improved service to its citizens. "The implementation of the EDEN software will increase productivity and result in cost savings for our taxpayers," said Jim Carter, Lowndes County Special Projects Manager. "What differentiated EDEN from other software vendors were the software's functionality, flexibility and potential for growth. We value Tyler's commitment to provide us with the latest developments in software."
"We are pleased to add Lowndes County to our growing base of customers in the Southeast," commented Jeff Green, President of Tyler's EDEN division. "Lowndes County is a technologically sophisticated, forward-looking agency, making them a great partner for us. We look forward to a long and cooperative relationship with the County."
