Tyler Technologies Unit and InGeo Systems Announce Strategic Alliance For E-Recording Solution |
DALLAS, Jan. 18 -- Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) and InGeo Systems, Inc. announced today that Tyler's Eagle Computer Systems (ECS) unit and InGeo Systems have formed a strategic alliance to provide e-recording capability to ECS' recording and imaging product, CRIS+plus(TM).
Through the collective efforts of InGeo and ECS, the current CRIS+plus client base of more than 120 clients in 14 states will now be able to provide an integrated, Internet-enabled e-recording capability through InGeo's Electronic Recording System.
The integration of InGeo's Electronic Recording System and CRIS+plus combines the tasks of document preparation and document recording into one seamless electronic filing process. Installation and start-up costs for counties and private entities are largely offset by the savings associated with filing documents electronically. For counties that are looking for an automated solution, the alliance between ECS and InGeo provides a simple, cost-effective system for end-to-end automated electronic document processing.
CRIS+plus, ECS' Complete Recording and Imaging System, is used by county government clients to receipt, index and image land and other official records, including vital statistics, marriages and UCC filings. InGeo's Electronic Recording System is the only completely digital web-based E-recording solution that allows private entities, such as mortgage companies, title companies and banks to prepare, sign, notarize and submit documents to counties electronically. Once documents are electronically submitted to the county, they are recorded and indexed into the county's CRIS+plus system, and a receipt is returned to the submitter -- all within minutes of the initial transaction.
This strategic alliance strengthens the strategic positions of Tyler Technologies / ECS as a national leader in providing document recording solutions for local governments, and InGeo as the preferred provider of E-recording solutions to local government and related private sector entities. Both companies will continue to set industry standards by providing clients with solutions that incorporate benchmark technological advancements and technical support.
