Web-based solution for access to court records installed in Denton County, TX
Dallas, Texas, October 9, 2000 —Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has completed the installation in Denton County, Texas of its new Web-based BenchView e-government solution for local government courts. BenchView provides presiding judges with quick and intuitive access to a vast array of courtroom-related information.
BenchView provides judges with access to information such as monthly and daily calendars, caseload aging statistics, court dockets, case details, full history of prior offenses and hearings, and disposition information. BenchView also provides access to sheriff and jail information, such as confinement details and electronic video mug shots of defendants in criminal cases. Additionally, judges can use BenchView to set or reset hearings, manage documents, and enter secure private notes regarding a case.
All of the courtroom information available through BenchView is managed by Tyler’s integrated back-end information management solutions, including Criminal Case Management, Civil Case Management, Court Calendaring and Docketing, Court Fine and Fee Collections, Sheriff and Jail Management and Booking, as well as Tyler’s electronic document management and imaging systems.
